It gives me great pleasure to write a few words on the launching of our new web site. With the current development on information technology we would undoubtedly be left out unless we bring about changes in line with current development.

Like all other Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), the Persatuan Penduduk Kota Kemuning (PPKK) was formed with a view of establishing harmonious living amongst the various races that made up the population of this housing estate.

We organize social functions, sports activities, annual dinner, jogathon and etc for members and their families and non-members alike. Rukun Tetangga and other measures aimed for streaming good neighborliness, know-thy-neighbor and etc are part of our activities. We also try to bridge the gap between the rich and not-so-rich through sports, social activities, religious and sporting. We disseminate information to all residents irrespectively of whether they are members of the PPKK or not via our monthly bulletin Kemuning News. Committee meetings are held monthly at our office situated at No.11B, Jalan Anggerik Aranda  D31/D (2nd Floor of Post Office).

Recycling is held on every second Sunday of each month at two centers.

I am proud to say that we enjoy full co-operation not only from the majority of residents but also from the Developer, Police and the local authorities viz Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam.
